Our story

When Joe Ferderbar and Brock Snider tried açaí bowls for the first time, an idea was born. They knew Lancaster needed a restaurant that provided nutritious food that was quick and easy. After deciding to start Oola Bowls, Joe and Brock began researching the best source of açaí. They were determined to find a source that tasted good and wasn’t loaded with fillers.

In 2018, Joe and Brock launched Oola Bowls with the purchase of a food truck, which was used for different local events. After a couple of months, Oola Bowls was approved to open their first stand at the oldest farmer’s market in the country, Lancaster Central Market. Now with an additional 5 locations, and a new franchising company, there’s a growing number of locations to enjoy Oola Bowls!
